Back-up Service

Equinix-DC1

The COIN Back-up Service is an important first step towards the implementation of Business Continuity Management (BCM). The COIN Back-up Service allows you to back up data and entire servers continuously or on a daily basis.

Business critical data & Back-up

Securely storing your business critical data on COIN’s trustworthy off-site platform enables your organization to retrieve individual files as well as restoring your entire IT-environment on COIN’s on-demand servers as required. Our solution is based on IASO-technology and our platforms are located in COIN’s highly secure datacenters in the Netherlands, i.e. not ‘somewhere in the Cloud’. On top of this, your data is encrypted and the key is only in your possession.

The back-up process takes place from your own production environment to the back-up platform in the COIN datacenters. All common file types are supported, including:

  • Microsoft Exchange SQL
  • MySQL and Oracle databases
  • Vmware and Hyper-V
  • Sharepoint

Thanks to the efficient delta block technology, the back-up process only requires limited bandwidth. A user friendly portal provides you access to the settings and the daily status reports, which are also verified by COIN. The flexible retention period is set on 2 to 90 days, depending on the importance of the history of the changes made over time. Archiving is also supported, e.g. monthly, quarterly and yearly.
